The last decade has brought accelerated changes to the way dentistry is practiced. Drivers of this shift are numerous. Record levels of student loan debt, tighter lending practices, and the ever increasing costs of technology has created a tremendous financial burden for dentists starting and operating a solo private practice. Decreasing insurance reimbursement, increased participation in managed care plans, and competition have put downward pressure on practice revenue. Increased regulatory compliance, complicated tax and legal requirements, and a stagnating economy contributes further the challenges facing dental practices today.
With all that being said, we here at Blueprint are optimists and see these challenges as opportunities to adapt to the changing environment using collaboration, technology, and great people.
We strive to take the proven business practices perfected by large dental corporations and combine them with the autonomy, personal satisfaction and high quality clinical care brought by a private practice owner. We will create and manage a network of carefully selected dentist partners with individualized practices that take advantage of economies of scale and management systems to assist them with the things that cause the most stress in daily practice so they can continue to focus on delivering the best clinical care for their patients.
Blueprint should be thought of as the ultimate business partner. One that has money, time, and resources to invest in a mutually beneficial venture. One that is ruled by powerful incentives that demand a continuation of high performance. One that understands the importance of division of labor in a dental office and wants to excel in the areas that most clinicians hate to deal with while allowing their partners 100% freedom in the delivery of patient care. One run by and for dentists that undersand every facet of ownership from clinical to clerical.
Blueprint was established to be somewhat of a co-op, benefiting all members of its networka nd maybe even changing the way dentistry is practiced. A way that preserves the traditional family practice, doctor adn patient relationships, and high quality care. We are excited to see what the future brings and hope you will consider joining us.
